ARISTOTLE had a busy 3-year-old campaign in 1999, making 14 starts in the tough sprint division, with half his starts against older horses. While based on the East Coast, he captured the Maryland Million Sprint, was second in both the Fall Highweight H.-G2 (to Richter Scale) and Sport Page H.-G3 and, after a wide trip, placed third in the Gallant Bob H.
ARISTOTLE started out the year on the West Coast with two eye catching performances, topped by his battle with the nation's leading 3-year-old Exploit in the San Vicente S.-G2, missing by only a neck. His previous outing saw him finish second to Cape Canaveral in the San Miguel S. ARISTOTLE earned $273,991, with five wins and eight placings.
