READY'S IMAGE burst onto the national scene at Keeneland in April of his 2-year-old year and by mid-summer of that 2007 season he ranked as one of the best juveniles in the nation. In six starts at 2, he won three times, topped by a four-length score in the Gr.2 Sanford S. when getting six furlongs in 1:09.90. He dazzled in Belmont Park’s Tremont S., getting his first stakes victory by seven and a half lengths. His two stakes placings came when second in Saratoga’s venerable Gr.1 Hopeful and, in his stakes debut, a game third in the Gr.3 Kentucky Breeders' Cup S. at Churchill Downs.
Named Maryland-bred champion 2-year-old colt, READY'S IMAGE returned to win his first start at 3, Belmont Park’s Adjudicating S. He retired with four wins, a second and a third from 10 starts, for earnings of $310,542.
A chip off the old block, the son of highly successful sire More Than Ready has launched his own stud career in Kentucky, getting two stakes winners in his first crop when they came to the races in 2012.
