winner produced by the Silver Deputy mare Silverdew. The first foal bred by
the partnership of Dark Hollow Farm, William DeBurgh and George Harris out
of Silverdew was the Golden Missile colt MERCANTILE, who was sold by the
partnership for $175,000 at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
MERCANTILE was a pinhook homerun, when sold by O & H Bloodstock, agent, for
$2 million at the Fasig-Tipton Florida Calder Selected Two-Year-Olds in
Training sale.

Sold for $7,500 as a yearling to Thomas F. O'Connell at the Fasig-Tipton
Midlantic Eastern Fall Yearling Sale.
