KETTLE WON created quite a stir in his 2-year-old debut during the 1998 Saratoga meet as the Todd Pletcher-trainee blew away the opposition with a ten and a half-length romp in maiden special company. He has since competed successfully on dirt and turf, going short and long, and fiinished second in the Fort Lauderdale Handicap-G3 over Gulfstream Park's turf course in March of 2000. A half-brother to the durable allowance horse GLIDE HOME, KETTLE WON is out of championSAFELY KEPT's half-sister SAFE AT THE PLATE, a stakes-placed winner of $114,923.

OVER THE MOON was special from the start. A daughter of Malibu Moon out of one of Dark Hollow Farm's all-star mares, CLEVER PHRASE (by Clever Trick), she is a half-sister to graded stakes-winning juvenile and Maryland-bred champion READY’S IMAGE and stakes-placed Yingyingying. And she continues to add to her family's legacy!

From two named foals, OVER THE MOON is the dam of 2020 Delaware Oaks-G3 winner PROJECT WHISKEY. A stakes winner at 2 in open company at Parx Racing, the daughter ot Tapizar is all determination and grit, and won the Delaware Oaks in her first graded attempt.

In OVER THE MOON's first public appearance she was pinned Reserve Champion by Buzz Chace at the Maryland Horse Breeders Association’s annual yearling show in 2009. PROJECT WHISKEY was also a yearling show standout, winning a blue ribbon in a class that included a future Breeders' Cup winner.

Kept to race in the Dark Hollow colors, OVER THE MOON showed so much talent early on that her juvenile debut came in Delaware Park’s Small Wonder S., in which she finished a respectable fourth. The beautiful dark bay filly's first win was by more than three lengths at 4 1/2 furlongs. She later added a mile and a sixteenth allowance score, and from 2 to 4 won or placed in six of her 11 starts, earning $67,390. In the final start of her career, OVER THE MOON finished fourth in Pimlico's Shine Again S.

OVER THE MOON is from the family that includes the likes of Gr.1 winners CAME HOME and MARYLEBONE, and additional graded stakes winners as STEPHANOTIS, CAPSIZED and NICE ASSAY.
