KETTLE WON created quite a stir in his 2-year-old debut during the 1998 Saratoga meet as the Todd Pletcher-trainee blew away the opposition with a ten and a half-length romp in maiden special company. He has since competed successfully on dirt and turf, going short and long, and fiinished second in the Fort Lauderdale Handicap-G3 over Gulfstream Park's turf course in March of 2000. A half-brother to the durable allowance horse GLIDE HOME, KETTLE WON is out of championSAFELY KEPT's half-sister SAFE AT THE PLATE, a stakes-placed winner of $114,923.

One of the newest additions to the Dark Hollow Farm broodmare band is RED’S ROUND TABLE, a five-time stakes winner of $268,780. One of the most consistent fillies on the East Coast her first two seasons, the daughter of Gr. 1-winning juvenile Cuvee won eight times in 19 starts.

At 2, RED’S ROUND TABLE won her debut at Delaware Park in July, an allowance next out by more than six lengths, and concluded the season with back-to-back stakes wins: Delaware’s White Clay Creek by nearly seven lengths, and Aqueduct’s Only Queens.

The march continued as she kicked off her 3-year-old season with wins in Laurel Park’s Marshua and Wide Country S., the latter her first start beyond six furlongs. She exited the race with an ankle fracture and was sidelined nine months. But it was just a bump in the road—two starts back she romped in Aqueduct’s Tate S. by six and a half lengths.

In her first 10 outings, she won eight times, five in stakes, and was second once.

RED'S ROUND TABLE made nine more starts, six in stakes company, and earned additional black-type in Pimlico’s Primonetta S., finishing less than a length behind the winner when third.

RED’S ROUND TABLE is out of High Yield’s winning daughter Carol D, a half-sister to graded stakes-placed juvenile War Wolf and stakes-placed Tapicero. The family includes Kentucky Oaks winner SUN AND SNOW and multimillionaire HONEY RYDER.
