BUFFGIRL is a half-sister to three other stakes horses, including five-time stakes winner SIZZLING SOUTH. The family includes Gr. 1 winner ANOTHER REEF, world-record holder FINDER'S FORTUNE and Gr.1 winner MITTERAND

The first foal out of BUFFGIRL offered at auction was her 2014 daughter by Stay Thirsty. Sold for $75,000 at the FTM Fall Yearling sale, she was resold at the FTM May auction in Timonium for $210,000 as a 2-year-old. In her first start in August 2016, the filly now named OLD LINE GAL closed well to finish second.

DREAM was a dream from the start. A dazzling winner in her only start at 2, when she strolled home at Delaware Park, DREAM won her first start at 3 and then hit the board in three consecutive stakes - the Gr. 3 Cicada Stakes at Aqueduct, Trevose Stakes at Parx and Pike Creek Stakes at Delaware Park. DREAM retired with five wins or placings in seven starts, for earnings of $81,132.

DREAM is now a member of the broodmare band with her dam, DREAM OUT LOUD, a half-sister to champion MAGISTRETTI. Her first two foals have gone through the auction ring for a total of $530,000. Her first starter, SPLIT, was a winner at 2.

The Maryland-bred champion 3-year-old filly of 2004, HE LOVES ME competed exclusively in stakes competition that year, winning half of her 10 starts. Those victories came in the Gr. 3 Iowa Oaks, Pimlico's Twixt, Pearl Necklace and Caesar's Wish S., and Laurel's Wide Country S. She was also third in Belmont Park's Gr. 1 Gazelle H. When she retired the next season, she had 11 wins or placings from 17 starts, and earnings of $355,698.

By Not For Love, HE LOVES ME is a full sister to multiple stakes winner and graded stakes placed FOR KISSES. Her half-sister Running Creek is the dam of stakes winner SOFTLY LITHE LOVES ME is out of PALLISER BAY, winner of the grassy Gallorette H.-G3 at Pimlico and two other stakes and six times stakes-placed. Purchased by Dark Hollow, agent, for $100,000 at the 2012 Keeneland January sale, HE LOVES ME is the dam of three yearlings to sell for six figures, including her yearling of 2014, Cherished Prize, who was the top-priced filly sold at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Fall Yearling sale. Earlier in the summer the filly was chosen by trainer Tony Dutrow as champion of the 80th annual MHBA Yearling Show.

A $500,000 sales yearling, RESPLENDENCY proved well worth the price by winning five races, including the Pine Tree Lane S. and Monrovia H. The California-based mare was also Gr. 1-placed in the Santa Monica H. and missed by a nose when second in the Buena Vista H.-G3. She was on the board in 13 of her 16 lifetime starts, and earned $329,217.

RESPLENDENCY is out of the Java Gold mare Doppio Espresso, who won or placed in four of her five starts at 2, counting a second in the Astoria Breeders' Cup S.-G3; her second dam is French Gr.3 winner EASTERN DAWN (by Damascus), also the dam of Gulfstream Park H.-G2 and Peter Pan S.-G2 winner HERO'S TRIBUTE. The family includes multimillionaires NARITA KING O and MEINER MORGEN

A half-sister to three stakes winners, POPEYE'S LADY won or placed in seven of her 15 starts, earning $71,600. Bred by Dark Hollow Farm and William P. Beatson, the daughter of FOREST WILDCAT is one of eight winners from as many starters for the SMARTEN mare POISED TO POUNCE.

POPEYE'S LADY's half-brother, Maryland-bred champion POSEIDON'S WARRIOR, won the 2012 Alfred G. Vanderbilt H.-G1 and earned $701,147. Other POISED TO POUNCE offspring include Maryland Million Classic winner PLAY BINGO; two-time stakes winner QUICK 'N SMART (the dam of $873,317-earner and multiple course record setter SMART ENOUGH) and stakes-placed Rhythmn Master.
