FLIT represents four generations of impressive producers at Dark Hollow Farm. Descending from the farm's legendary foundation mare SAFELY HOME, she is a daughter of the marvelous producer SAFE JOURNEY and is a half-sister to three stakes horses, led by four-time stakes winner O DIONYSUS, who has earnings of nearly $450,000 and was a stakes winner four consecutive years, on dirt and turf, and set a course record at Delaware Park for a mile and a half when winning the 2018 Cape Henlopen S. FLIT's half-sister JOY won Belmont Park's Perfect Sting S., Delaware Park's Christiana S. and Laurel Park's All Brandy S., earned $250,544 and is the dam of six-figure sales yearlings. FLIT's half-brother Combat Diver, a $100,000 2-year-old sales horse, was stakes-placed at 3. FLIT is the dam of a six-figure sales offspring, BETCHA BY GOLLY (by Tapizar), the most expensive filly sold at the 2019 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Fall Yearlings sale when purchased by the highly-successful Maryland-based stable Skeedattle Associates for $150,000. In her first three starts at 2, BETCHA BY GOLLY finished in the top three in all of them, and recorded her first win when stretching out for the first time at Pimlico in September, leading throughout to score by nearly 3 lengths over a sloppy track. A winning daughter of UNBRIDLED, KINLIN has been a star in the sales ring. She had three consecutive yearlings sell for six figures—totaling $1.24 million—topped by a $500,000 More Than Ready filly in 2007. Her yearlings have always turned heads: her first foal, by Partner's Hero, won his class at the Maryland Horse Breeders Association's annual yearling show; her 2008 colt by Malibu Moon was named the show's champion, and sold later that fall for $400,000. A half-sister to multiple graded stakes winner DUBLEO, now a graded stakes sire in Australia, KINLIN is out of the SECRETARIAT mare Secret Red, a half-sister to champion sprinter RUBIANO. This is also the family of Belmont S.-G1 winner SUMMER BIRD, top runner and leading sire TAPIT, major sire RELAUNCH and world-record-equaling sprinter and successful sire GLITTERMAN. Purchased by Anstu Stables for $370,000 at the Fasig-Tipton Florida Select Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale. Currently standing stud in New York. A stakes winner of $159,200, HIGH MOMENT won Laurel Park's Dahlia S. at a mile on the turf, and Philadelphia Park's Dr. James Penny Memorial S. at a mile and a sixteenth on the turf over multiple graded stakes winner J'ray. HIGH MOMENT's first two foals of racing age are winners, including graded stakes winner LUNA TIME, whose first stakes win came in the Grade 3 Obeah S. at Delaware Park. Earlier in the year she finished third in the Maryland Racing Media S. in her stakes debut. HIGH MOMENT's son by first-year sire TRAPPE SHOT, now named BEST DRIVE, sold for $230,000 at the 2015 Barretts Select 2-year-old sale. He initially sold out of the Dark Hollow consignment for $127,000 at the Keeneland September Yearling sale. Out of multiple stakes-placed Apogee (a daughter of champion sprinter STAR DE NASKRA), HIGH MOMENT is a half-sister to Gr. 2 Gulfstream Park H. winner SIR WHIMSEY, a $521,784-earner who won or placed in nine stakes, with a third in the Gr. 1 Pimlico Special among his efforts. The family includes Gr. 1 winner and $836,765-earner JESSICA IS BACK. HIGH MOMENT's first three dams are all stakes performers. Tragically, HIGH MOMENT died of foaling complications in 2015 after producing a filly by Trappe Shot, who survived. Produce History 2015 ch.f. by TRAPPE SHOT HIGH MOMENT
