MEMORIES OF MYSTIC, an allowance-winning daughter of DIXIE UNION, was bred by Dark Hollow Farm out of the stakes-winning mare MYSTIC DANCE. Other offspring of MYSTIC DANCE (by Nepal) are $336,100-earner DANCE FEE, who won or placed in seven stakes, and $192,624 stakes winner CHANCELLOR M. H. Two of the first four foals out of MEMORIES OF MYSTIC are stakes winners. Her daughter MYSTIC LOVE, by NOT FOR LOVE, was named Maryland-bred champion 2-year-old filly of 2012 after winning three of her four starts. She became a stakes winner when taking Laurel Park's time-honored Selima S. in just her third effort, then traveled to Gulfstream Park and defeated colts in the $100,000 Dania Beach S. She later sold as a racing/broodmare prospect for $100,000. MEMORIES OF MYSTIC's son BRIDGET’S BIG LUVY got his first stakes win in his fifth career start in the $100,000 Private Terms at Laurel Park, well clear of the field at every call. The family of MEMORIES OF MYSTIC traces back to the blue hen mare OBEAH, dam of two-time champion and millionaire GO FOR WAND, graded stakes winner and sire DANCE SPELL, and Gr. 2 Gazelle H. winner and multiple Gr. 1-placed DISCORAMA, MEMORIES OF MYSTIC's third dam. A winning daughter of UNBRIDLED, KINLIN has been a star in the sales ring. She had three consecutive yearlings sell for six figures—totaling $1.24 million—topped by a $500,000 More Than Ready filly in 2007. Her yearlings have always turned heads: her first foal, by Partner's Hero, won his class at the Maryland Horse Breeders Association's annual yearling show; her 2008 colt by Malibu Moon was named the show's champion, and sold later that fall for $400,000. A half-sister to multiple graded stakes winner DUBLEO, now a graded stakes sire in Australia, KINLIN is out of the SECRETARIAT mare Secret Red, a half-sister to champion sprinter RUBIANO. This is also the family of Belmont S.-G1 winner SUMMER BIRD, top runner and leading sire TAPIT, major sire RELAUNCH and world-record-equaling sprinter and successful sire GLITTERMAN. Purchased by Anstu Stables for $370,000 at the Fasig-Tipton Florida Select Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale. Currently standing stud in New York. A stakes winner of $159,200, HIGH MOMENT won Laurel Park's Dahlia S. at a mile on the turf, and Philadelphia Park's Dr. James Penny Memorial S. at a mile and a sixteenth on the turf over multiple graded stakes winner J'ray. HIGH MOMENT's first two foals of racing age are winners, including graded stakes winner LUNA TIME, whose first stakes win came in the Grade 3 Obeah S. at Delaware Park. Earlier in the year she finished third in the Maryland Racing Media S. in her stakes debut. HIGH MOMENT's son by first-year sire TRAPPE SHOT, now named BEST DRIVE, sold for $230,000 at the 2015 Barretts Select 2-year-old sale. He initially sold out of the Dark Hollow consignment for $127,000 at the Keeneland September Yearling sale. Out of multiple stakes-placed Apogee (a daughter of champion sprinter STAR DE NASKRA), HIGH MOMENT is a half-sister to Gr. 2 Gulfstream Park H. winner SIR WHIMSEY, a $521,784-earner who won or placed in nine stakes, with a third in the Gr. 1 Pimlico Special among his efforts. The family includes Gr. 1 winner and $836,765-earner JESSICA IS BACK. HIGH MOMENT's first three dams are all stakes performers. Tragically, HIGH MOMENT died of foaling complications in 2015 after producing a filly by Trappe Shot, who survived. Produce History 2015 ch.f. by TRAPPE SHOT HIGH MOMENT
